With the development of sensor technology,wireless sensor network(Wireless Sensor Networks,WSN)in the target location technology has been used in military,transportation and other fields.At the current sensor network localization algorithm,because of the node energy is limited,and the influence of communication and bandwidth,In the complex wireless sensor network(WSN),it is necessary to take effective communication strategy and the way of data processing to reduce the traffic sensor nodes,and extend the service life of the entire network.Therefore,improve the efficiency of the localization,reduce energy consumption,has important significance for wireless sensor network.This article will research target localization algorithm based on received signal strength.This article mainly aims at the target location problem of sound attenuation model,first elaborated the two traditional centralized sound source localization algorithm,One of them is based on maximum likelihood estimation of Gauss-Newton localization algorithm,the other is centralized EM algorithm.That two kinds of algorithms,all the data will be sent to the central unit to processing,this way will increase energy consumption,and sensor network in centralized algorithm robustness is bad.Because of the centralized sound source localization algorithm has certain shortcomings,this paper then expounds two kinds of distributed sound source localization algorithm,one of that is distributed EM algorithm which based on Gaussian mixture model,that is on the basis of the standard EM algorithm,though distributed consistency algorithm to disassemble to each node,the global statistic is the average of each local statistics,then distributed EM algorithm is obtained.The other is a distributed alternating direction method of multipliers(Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers,ADMM),this algorithm share the information to the various nodes,each sensor nodes can communicate information with each other,Finally,using the consistency algorithm to realize distributed location.The simulation results shows that the distributed algorithm to make target location performance has greatly improved.
