This topic comes from a horizontal research project proposed by logistics express companies in Inner Mongolia.With the country's increasingly stringent requirements on the safety management of the express delivery industry,X-ray security inspection machine have become a must for logistics and express companies.Existing X-ray security inspection machine can only provide X-ray images of various types of objects.Whether there are designated prohibited items or not requires manual on-site verification.With the increase in the number of mailed items,the efficiency of such security inspections has obviously been unable to meet the needs of express delivery.Therefore,the development of a device that can effectively and quickly detect specific objects in X-ray security inspection machine and can provide alarm notifications is of great practical significance.Based on enterprises' requests,this thesis studies and designs an ARM-based embedded X-ray image detector.With the embedded recognition algorithm,the detector can automatically detect whether there is a specific restricted or prohibited item from the X-ray image of the security inspection machine,without the staff being on dutyAccording to the project requirements,the test object is a mechanical mobile hard disk.Considering the processing speed of the image detector must synchronize with the X-ray security inspection machine's conveyor belt,the author chose the OpenCV-based histogram matching algorithm as the image recognition algorithm to process and recognize X-ray images,and the algorithm had been verified on a Windows platform.The OK6410 development board with the Samsung S3C6410 processor as the core is used as the hardware platform,the Linux system is used as the software platform,and they are combined to develop a dedicated embedded system.The system was ported to Linux system,OpenCV and Qt.And Linux-based detection application software was developed on the host computer,which was composed of image detection module and graphical interface.After the software was ported to the embedded development board,and after tested,the functions designed were basically achieved: the system was running stably,the recognition rate met the project requirements and the device was considered acceptable by this express company.This project has successfully designed a X-ray image detector for specific objects.The detector realizes the function of detecting whether there is a mobile hard disk in the baggage only by being connected to the interface of the X-ray security inspection machine through with network cable.It is easy to operate,has a user-friendly interface and boats higher accuracy.Therefore,it is of great practical value.
