With the advent of the era of big data,it has become crucial to efficiently obtain scholars' information and build their academic networks from the massive scholar data,in which the advisor-advisee relationship is a very important relation network.Accurately extracting the corresponding advisor-advisee relationship between scholars from the complex social network is very important for discovering potential collaborators,recommending tutors,and studying scholars' academic careers comprehensively.However,because the advisor-advisee relationship can be easily overlooked,few developers of existing systems do research on effective identification and visualization of advisor-advisee relationship.In order to make up for the deficiencies of the existing system,this paper has realized the accurate identification of the advisor-advisee relationship among the scholars,and displayed the identified advisor-advisee relationship in a visual way from multiple perspectives.The users can clearly and comprehensively understand the scholars' advisor-advisee relationship.The system,based on the Hadoop platform,applies the distributed database HBase,processes and extracts data under the framework of Spring,then uses the visual ECharts technology to intuitively display the advisor-advisee relationship.This paper first introduces the data sets,identification algorithms and main implementation techniques used in system development.Then it focuses on the development process and implementation results of the system.After completing the needs analysis of the advisor-advisee relationship system,we modularized the system design.These modules are divided into relationship identification module,relationship display module,user feedback module and administrator module.The relationship identification module includes feature value extraction and algorithm identification.The relationship display module visualizes the advisor-advisee relationship from various perspectives.The user feedback module is responsible for users error correction functions,and the administrator module is responsible for user management and feedback reply functions.Finally,the system is based on the Microsoft Academic Graph(MAG).It effectively identifies the advisor-advisee relationship in the field of computer science and displays it in a visualized form in the system,and lay a foundation for the mining and recognition of the advisor-advisee relationship in the future.
