Academic paper is one of the carrier of scholar information.However,the scholar information in the paper is very fragmented and it is difficult to get the complete scholar information through academic papers.Build scholar information display platform by extract and integrate information from academic papers.It provides user completely?timely and reliable scholars information.It can help users seeking potential partners and academic communication.There are two ways to viewing scholar information online: the first way is searching for scholar's personal website or home page.But many scholars do not have personal homepage.This approach has a great limitation.The second way is searching on some academic platforms which provide the introduction of scholar information.But those platforms do not focus on the scholar information introduction.It leads those platform lacks detailed scholar information.The scholar information display platform's data is PDF format paper which from some digital library.Through extract and calculate the paper metadata and scholars can get scholar information and build display platform.The main work of this paper is:(1)Paper metadata extraction.By analyzing the format of a large number of academic papers and combining with the previous work,this paper summarizes the characteristics of the paper metadata with repeatability,order and some determinacy.Using regular expressions and dictionary matching to extract academic paper metadata.(2)Academic information of statisticians.This paper calculate the scholars of academic information mainly include H-index,G-index,totally cited amount,average paper cited amount,totally published paper amount,nearly three or five years published paper amount,nearly three/five years published paper cited amount,fund project,published papers areas,collaborators and cooperation amount.(3)Design and implement the scholar information display platform.This platform which uses Java and based on the SSH framework,applies the foreground technology such as Freemaker and JQuery,and applies My SQL as the database technology.The platform has implement the scholar information calculate and display,paper information display,academic conference notice and journal/conference profile.
