The quality of 3D printing material directly affects the performance of printing parts.In the process of production,the diameter of consumables will fluctuate if the production process fluctuates.Based on the experiment and simulation to improve the stability of the printing consumables line diameter,FDM printing influence factors are analyzed when the consumables product by single screw extruder and the melt gear pump assisted extrusion equipment.The main research results of the project are as follows:(1)A new single screw extrusion model with adjustable temperature and the extrusion traction parts was developed.The influence of production process factors on the line diameter of the consumable material was studied.It was found that the main factors affecting the line diameter of consumables were barrel temperature,screw speed,traction speed and sizing die temperature.The linkage model between screw speed and traction speed was obtained under different extrusion conditions,when extruding 1.75mm line diameter consumables.The simulation results were verified by exper-imentts.(2)On the basis of previous studies,a new type of melt gear pump model with adjustable temperature and adjustable extrusion parts was built.The influence of extrusion process on the line diameter of consumables was studied with considering the influence of extrusion swell and wall slip.It was found that the use of sizing die can effectively improve the line diameter stability of consumables.Meanwhile,it was found that the main factors affecting the line diameter of the consumables were the temperature of the melt gear pump,sizing die temperature,the traction speed and the speed of the melt gear pump.The linkage model between the speed of the melt gear pump and the traction speed was obtained through the simulation method under different process conditions.(3)A small consumables production line was built with PLC as its control core.The network module sended the collected data to the user side,so as to realize the remote monitoring of consumables production process.(4)The influence of printing parameters on the tensile properties of PLA printing samples was studied by printing samples with 3D printer.The results showed that the tensile strength of the samples can be improved by increasing the filling density and the shell thickness.The tensile strength of the specimen decreased with the increase of the layer height.The mechanical properties of the PLA printed specimens was the best when the specimens was printed in the temperature range of 210?220?.
