The application of optical fiber communication has made the field of information experience a great revolution, and has become the main means for people to carry out information transmission. The characteristics of Airy beam, such as non-diffraction,self-acceleration and self-healing,have been extensively researched. It is found that it has potential application in light bullets, optical particle manipulation, plasma channel and other fields. In this paper, the transmission of Airy pulse and soliton in inhomogeneous optical fiber are studied, and the interaction of Airy beams in a media with parabolic potential is discussed. The main work of this research is as follows.First, the influence of higher-order effect on the transmission of soliton and Airy pulses in inhomogeneous optical fibers is studied.Under the action of higher-order effect, the trapped soliton is still generated, and the center positions of the soliton and the trapped soliton also shift.Additionally, the strength of trapped soliton is affected by the third-order effect. Finally, the dependence of the center positions and intensities of the soliton and the trapped soliton on the truncation coefficient is discussed.Second, the dynamic characteristics of Airy pulse with initial chirp are studied when it transmits with soliton in inhomogeneous optical fiber. It is found that the trapped soliton is generated in the different initial chirp conditions. When the initial chirp is positive, the Airy pulse is generated which is opposite to the original acceleration direction;when the initial chirp is negative, the Airy pulse disperses. Moreover, the transmission characteristics of Airy pulse are studied under different truncation coefficients and nonlinear conditions.Third, the interaction of Airy beams in a medium with parabolic potential is studied. It is found that under the effect of the parabolic potential, the breather forms during the interaction, and the cycle of the breather is affected by the depth of the potential well.In addition, the transmission characteristics are also affected by the interval and the relative phase between the beams.Furthermore, the influence of amplitude on the interaction is analyzed, that is,when the initial amplitudes of the two beams are different, the beam with stronger amplitude plays a dominant role in the process of interaction.
