Research On The Growth Law Of High-Impact Scholars Based On Scientific Literature Communication Network

Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous improvement of the role of high-impact scholars in the process of scientific literature communication,research on the characteristics,evaluation and influence of high-impact scholars has become a topic of academic interest.In order to study and reveal the grovwth characteristics of high-impact scholars as a key node in scientific collaboration,this paper designs a set of research programs based on life cycle theory and the law of literature growth as well as by means of mathematical statistics and complex network.Evolution study of high-impact scholars' growth are conducted on Superconductivity of CNKI in China from the point of view of the whole and the individual.Superconductivity is divided into the stage of germination,growth,decline,recovery and stationary phase base on the amount of literature growth.Results show that except for germination phase,collaboration network in other phases are scale-free network and follow power law distribution;Collaboration network in each phase presents different features;Secondly,we identify the high impact scholars in the field of Superconductivity by entropy weight and grey relational analysis.Then we analyze the growth rule of high impact scholars from two angles of cooperation and theme.From the perspective of cooperation,we explore the growth characteristics of TOP 10 high-impact scholars in different life cycle stages of Superconductivity's scientific collaboration network from three aspects:entering collaboration pattern,the evolution model and the network type of high-impact author.Through the number of co-authors,whether cooperates with other high impact authors as well as time interval when authors enter Superconductivity,Four types of entering collaboration patterns are identified.Through the weighted incidence degree distribution of high-impact authors in different stages,three evolution patterns of individual high impact author are detected,i.e.grow and diminish pattern,keep leading pattern and descending type pattem.Three types of component network are recognized,i.e.mobile collaboration component network,leading growth collaboration component network and multiple core collaboration component network.From the perspective of theme,we explore the rule of high-impcat author from scholars'interest distribution and research interest evolution.We extract the global research topic and research topic in different the phases of Superconducting by AT model.Results show that high-impact authors tend to study hot topics,at the same time,high-impact scholars have the impetus to promote the development of the theme.In addition,it is also found that scholars'interest distribution in global research is characterized by stages,and scholars at the same stage tend to study the same topic.Based on the evolution of scholars' research interests,high-impact scholars in the field of superconductivity are divided into "focused scholars" and"transferred scholars".
