The measurement and control communication(MCC)technology has been applied in many fields.For example,the MCC technology plays a very important role in the process of rocket,spacecraft launch and flight.In addition,the MCC is also an important supporting system for missile test and satellite systems.In defense sector,it is an integral part of the modernization of defense industry.It also plays an increasingly important role in the construction of national economy.Currently,with the increasing complexity of the electromagnetic environment around now,it is becoming more and more important to obtain the necessary electronic information quickly and efficiently.Therefore,the communication reconnaissance for MCC is becoming increasingly prominent.TT&C(tracking,telemetry,and command)communication system has been evolving through three generations,with the first generation being analog control signal,the second generation mainly being digital measurement and control signal,the third generation incorporating spectrum spreading technology compared with the previous two generations.This thesis focuses on identification of the modulation pattern for the three generations of MCC signals.Firstly,for the first generation MCC signal,the most representative FM-FM signal is selected,and its modulation principle is described.For FM-FM signal modulation recognition,a feature recognition method is adopted based on instantaneous characteristic information by using which the FM-FM signal is effective separated from some background signals(such as AM,DSB,LSB,USB,and AM,FM,etc.).Secondly,as for the second generation measurement and control signals,the PCM-FM and PCM-BPSK-PM signals are analyzed in terms of their modulation principle and signal characteristics.Some spectral correlation features are utilized to distinguish these two signals from the first generation MCC signals and other background signals.Thirdly,the third DS/BPSK signal is analyzed in terms of modulation principle and its characteristics.By using the identification method based on cyclic spectrum correlation and time delay autocorrelation,the DS/BPSK signal can be identified from the first two generations of MCC signals and other background signals.In a summary,this thesis analyzes the modulation principle and signal characteristics ofMCC signals.Using the feature recognition method based on instantaneous characteristic information,spectral correlation characteristics,cyclic spectrum correlation and time delay autocorrelation,each generation of MCC signals can be recognized effectively and accurately.
