It is a general trend to develop the electric vehicles,with the depletion of petroleum resources.As one of the three technologies of electric vehicles,battery management system(BMS)are undergoing relevant technological revolutions.And the battery management system,its performance is essential to play the performance of the battery,prolong the life of the battery and improve the safety of the electric vehicle.And the research goal of this thesis is to design a battery management system with single cell voltage acquisition,temperature acquisition,current acquisition,balance control,insulation detection,total pressure detection,state estimation and fault diagnosis.In this thesis,the scientific and rationality of the distributed topology of power battery packs is analyzed from the overall structure layout of electric vehicles.Then the functional requirements and security performance of the BMS are further studied based on the MC33771.And the relevant solutions,consisting of the function modules,are proposed to build a basic single cell battery information acquisition system on the basis of the lithium ion battery monitoring chip MC33771,in this thesis.For the sake of safety objectives of BMS,the causes of faults and detection principles are analyzed,combining with the functional safety requirements of IS026262.And then,the real-time diagnosis and alarms are adopted by us.Finally,a functional verification platform is set up to monitor single cell information,charge and discharge information,and fault diagnosis information,thus to verify the overall system functionality.
