Driven by the global media environment,the mass media needs to face the entire world's acceptance,dissemination and production.Intercultural communication has become the focus of people's attention,and internationalization is a trend to cater to the development of this era.In 1926,The Young Companion was born in Shanghai,covering domestic and foreign news,knowledge and fashion.There are sales offices all over the world.It is a typical international publication in the history of modern Chinese journalism.The internationalization of The Young Companion has a profound background.Intercultural communication in modern China has undergone that transformation of Chinese to internationalization.Chinese are inspired by the awakening of postmodern news consciousness.Moreover,as western science and technology and ideas continue to spread,people's international vision was gradually broadened.And in Shanghai at that time,there was a loose system of concessions,a prosperous economy,a diverse culture and a growing community of citizens.In addition to the dissemination concept of the magazine,Various factors contributed to its internationalization.It reflected in the content,domestic and foreign content is equal.Pictorial not only gives us a world image of fashion,science but unrest,but also shows the world the image of China.On the other hand,the expression drew close to the international first-class picture newspaper.Pictorial layout design is on the international front,with "painting" as the main communication,professional distribution mode to make it distributed worldwide,do "good readers all over the world".It worked hard to internationalize from both content and form,but it still has the contents of shallow,the lack of thought enlightenment and criticism,audience positioning limitations and the dilemma of cultural adaptation.In today's increasingly globalized world,the international characteristics can be used for reference by modern media.They need to change the content and form of communication,focus on the audience,and stick to the strategy of bringing in and going out.As an audience,we should have an intercultural character,maintain open and rational attitude to receive and adapt,so as to realize the common prosperity of communication and culture.
