Materials define how a surface should be rendered.As mobile devices become more common and essential,mobile applications such as games and model viewers start to pay attention to the rendering quality,and materials plays an important role in high efficient realistic rendering.We designed an efficient method to fit and render complex materials in real-time.First,we proposed a method to fit a vMF distribution to the isotripic ward model with any roughness within a specific range in real-time.Second,our microfacet-based representation of measured brdfs is discribed by a mixture of vMFs,which makes the rendering equation easy to solve.Finally,to improve rendering results,we implemented the environment highting with a prefiltered mipmaped radiance environment map.Our method supports isotropic materials and measured materials with complex details.Ac-cording to our test,programs using our method for rendering materials can run on mobile devices with high FPS.
