Wireless sensor networks,providing with the characteristics of low cost,low power,multi-purpose,have been widely used in so many areas,such as environmental monitoring,automatic control and so on,especially for the dangerous area where people can't reach.A large number of sensor nodes are deployed in practical applications randomly,but the spatial information of those sensor nodes are unknown to us.It has great significance to combine the raw sensor data with the spatial information in wireless sensor networks.So how to improve the effect of positioning and provide more accurate positioning service are hot research topics in recent years.Due to the complex environment of the coal mine,there are many factors that threaten the safety of the underground staff.When the disaster occurs,the rescue can be carried out effectively if the accurate personnel information can be obtained quickly.Because of the interference of the signal in the underground positioning process,the traditional positioning algorithms will lead to the location error.In the wireless localization,there are two categories: range-based and range-free.Because most of the range-based algorithms require additional hardware facilities,the cost and energy consumption of sensor nodes are increased.The range-free algorithms are simple,but its localization accuracy is low.In this paper,we propose a weighted centroid algorithm based on RSSI algorithm.In view of the problems extant in mine tunnel positioning like susceptibility to environmental interference,this paper selects the Gauss filter model to deal with the RSSI value.The more precise distance value can be obtained by calculating the arithmetic mean value of RSSI value in the high probability interval.An algorithm called centroid localization provides a simple method to localize the unknown node.However,it has a high localization error.To improve the localization accuracy,the weighted centroid localization algorithm in coal mine wireless sensor networks based on RSSI algorithm was proposed.In this paper,based on the triangle centroid positioning algorithm,the weight value is improved by analyzing the factors that affect the weight.Finally,the weighted centroid positioning algorithm is used to locate the unknown node.In the final simulation experiment,the performance evaluation of the proposed algorithm is achieved by comparing the simulation results of different positioning algorithms.The simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of this algorithm can meet the requirements of the mine positioning system.
