This paper is aimed to do research of Electric Capacitance Tomography(ECT)based on the correlation coefficient and the inverse problem algorithm.ECT is developed from the process tomography technology.It can measure the distribution of material in space and display its results very fast.It belongs to the way of non-interference measurement.ECT has been recognized and studied by experts at home and abroad because of its advantages of fast response,safety,no interference in flow field,economy and no radiation.Now ECT has quickly become an indispensable process imaging tool in the research and industrial practice.In order to get the improved ECT reconstruction method,improve the spatial resolution and reduce the image error,this paper first proposes an ECT imaging method based on data correlation analysis,which does not utilize the traditional sensitivity field.In this method,the medium of high dielectric constant is first assigned to each micro element in the sensor and the capacitance value is obtained.Then,the correlation coefficient is found between capacitance vector and capacitance of the imaging system,and a correction matrix is generated for each specific measurement condition,so as to generate a new sensitivity map.Compared with the traditional sensitivity map,the sensitive map generated by the correlation coefficient algorithm can adapt to the material distribution in the sensor.In order to get thousands of capacitor values quickly,this paper realizes Maxwell automatic operation by MATLAB programming,and realizes automation in data acquisition,thereby saving manpower.The simulation results show that the imaging effect of the algorithm is approximately the same as that of the classical Landweber algorithm.The algorithm improves the quality of the image reconstruction and does not need to be iterated.By combining the correlation coefficient algorithm with the Landweber iterative algorithm,the image quality can be further improved.It is proved by experiment that the method proposed in this paper is practical and has good imaging effect.The algorithm also has good imaging effect on the medium with high dielectric constant,such as water and other media.
