Research On Zang Yong And The Diary Of Bai Jing

Zang Yong is an important textual scholar in Qianjia period of Qing Dynasty.He studied Sinology carefully and worked hard and meticulously.He took collation of ancient books and examination of right and wrong as his professional ambition.As a famous professional scholar in the Qianjia period,Zang Yong was a professional scholar of the officialdom.He not only took Lu Wen-chao who is a great Confucian scholar as his teacher,but also interacted with many famous scholars at that time.He formed his own academic characteristics in the debate with scholars,and then we could understand the tendency of the style of study at that time.As a traditional textual scholar,Zang Yong has made great achievements in ancient books,collation?textual examination?compilation of lost books and primary school exegesis.There are more than ten kinds of books he had written,and the Diary of Bai Jing is a representative work that reflects the level of his textual research.There are many versions of the Diary of Bai Jing.This article is based on Qing Jiaqing's 24-year-old prayer-book seriesof Bai Jing Tang as the research object.The textual research contents in the book can be divided into eight categories.Textual research of words,degeneracy and correction of errors are the two most important categories.In addition,there are also the types of historical facts of figures,the system of ritual rites,the astronomical and geographical categories,and the category of edition textual research.By analyzing its textual content and citing bibliography,we can see Zang Yong's textual research method and textual research thought:in its textual research method,there are four research methods:words by exegesis,inductive method,reasoning proof method,using the version of Jinshi and other material object research etc;its textual research ideological respect for Sinology,do not reject the Song school,Han and Song concurrently;committed to textual research,but not excluding the principle of justice;in the process of textual research,repeatedly cited with teachers and friends,seeking truth from facts.Zang Yong was a textual scholar with a deep foundation of textual research in the Qianjia period.Because of his low social status and the spread of his writings,few people studied it.The purpose of this paper is to introduce Zang Yong and his academic achievements so as to draw the attention of later generations.
