Balance ability is an important function of human body, and is a guarantee for people to maintain their daily life.If there are obstacles to balance function, people can not maintain their normal life and then leading to a decline of quality of life.In recent years, studies show that the balance of dysfunction become younger and younger,so exploring the factors that affect the stability of young people between the age of 20-30 will not only provide objective and accurate clinical evidence for doctors, but also putting forward countermeasures for young people and preventing them from falling.Traditional method such as scale is dependent on the experience of doctors, and has less objectivity. However, the evaluation of test equipment is relatively objective and accurate. At present, the force platform is mainly used in various dynamic and static balance measurements. The main work of this research based on the AMTI force platform are as follows:Firstly, the assessment method of human balance ability under quiet state was put forward, and the test result were compared and analyzed under four states: natural standing with eyes open(NO),natural standing with eyes closed(NC),loaded with eyes open(LO),loaded with eyes closed(LC).The standard deviation(SD)and kurtosis(K)were used as the evaluation index to measure the contribution of vision and somatosensory system to young people's balance ability.Secondly,in view of the shortcoming that quiet state can not completely separate the sensory system which affects the balance function,a method for assessing the balance ability under dynamic state was proposed.A set of dynamic device was developed based on the AMTI force platform to measure the balance under the above four states.According to the calculated SD and K we evaluated the above two systems on the balance function under stress state.Thirdly,we compared and analyzed the balance function under static and dynamic state. Results show that the dynamic experiment can reflect the contribution of the two systems more accurate. At the same time, the rationality and validity of the developed dynamic assessment device are verified. At last, the skeletal tracking technology of Kinect was used to explored a new gait feature recognition method.Combining static characteristics and relative dynamic characteristics of human body,a hybrid gait recognition technique was proposed.Experiment results show that the recognition has a higher accuracy, and the proposed two statistical features SD and K have good complementary performance.
