The rapid development of information age brings challenges to the security of information,which requires the platform for conducting network experiments and evaluating network technologies to emerge.As the fundamental technology of the platform,the goal of network reproducing technology is to create extensible,realistic,transparent virtual or physical networks with software and hardware.The technology can be divided into two types.One is single reproducing technology represented by physical testbed,network emulation and network simulation,and the other one is integrated reproducing technology.The network emulation technology which integrates physical and virtual networks has become the mainstream for new network technologies researching and network security technologies evaluating.Facing the need for extensibility,transparency,flexibility,isolation and high fidelity,an integrated network emulation technology supported by cloud platform is proposed,then improvement aimed at isolation is conducted and a technology supporting isolation among multiple experiments is proposed,and finally a system for deploying integrated networks automatically is designed and created.The main research contents are as follows:1)A network emulation technology integrated physical networks and virtual networks and based on the OpenStack cloud platform is proposed.By building physical server cluster of compute node,this technology can achieve the extensibility of virtual network,meanwhile by building integrated network server cluster with multiple network cards,this technology can achieve the extensible integration of virtual and physical networks with physical hosts accessing directly through integrated network servers;with the strategies of flow table matching and controlling,as well as the mapping table which shows changes of network situation,this technology can help to build integrated network with transparency,flexibility,and isolation.Compared with the primary OpenStack Platform,the technology supports building integrated network with transparency and isolation.Finally,by building multiple typical experiment scenarios,the efficiency of the method can be proved.2)Improvement aimed at isolation is conducted and a technology supporting isolation among multiple experiments is proposed.Researching focuses on the seamless integration of physical switch and virtual-physical emulation architecture,the seamless integration of VLAN isolation mechanism and GRE isolation mechanism,as well as link attributes emulation based on Netem.Taking advantage of these mechanisms,the technology can not only achieve the transparent communication between virtual network and physical network,but the isolation among multiple experiments.In addition,the fidelity can be ensured.Compared with the primary OpenStack Platform,the technology supports building integrated network with transparency and isolation,besides the fidelity can be promoted.Multiple typical experiment scenarios prove the technology is able to build integrated networks with extensibility,transparency,flexibility and isolation,meanwhile offer good performance.3)Based on the achievements of 1)and 2),a system for deploying integrated networks automatically is designed and created.The system reads the XML file which describes the network environment and analyzes parameters for the deployment.Then the system divides these parameters into groups by their names and sends these groups to methods which have particular functions.Finally,the system completes the deployment.By deploying large-scale virtual network and conducting communication tests,the availability of the system is proved.
