With the continuous development of human society,various kinds of radio communication products can be seen everywhere in daily life and work.Radio has a pivotal position in human society.Differentiated radio products greatly increase the complexity of the electromagnetic environment.In order to reasonably and effectively manage and utilize limited spectrum resources,spectrum monitoring of radios in the air is essential.At present,radio monitoring systems imported from abroad have high accuracy and full functionality,but they are expensive.In general monitoring,their practicality and cost performance are not high.The task of this paper is to design and develop a portable,low-cost,easy-to-upgrade and maintain spectrum monitoring system to meet the spectrum monitoring needs of various environments.In order to reduce hardware costs and facilitate software system upgrades,the mobile spectrum monitoring system in this paper is based on software radio technology and is designed and developed using GNU Radio,USRP,and Ubuntu systems.This article describes the modules and functions commonly used in GNU Radio,a software platform used in spectrum monitoring systems.It analyzes the USRP sub-modules of the hardware platform in detail and explains the parameters of the hardware platform.Several spectrum sensing algorithms often used in spectrum monitoring are compared and analyzed.In order to extract the spectrum of the monitored signal from the noise.The energy detection algorithm is used in this monitoring system.In the fifth chapter,the design scheme of the whole spectrum monitoring system is described in detail.The hardware composition and work flow of spectrum monitoring system are analyzed and introduced.The process of data processing in the system is explained.In the spectrum monitoring system,the signal processing module in GNU Radio is called to perform FFT transformation on the sampled value,and then the function is called to tune the center frequency point.Finally,in order to acquire wide range of spectrum,the spectrums of multiple narrowband monitoring are connected and the spectrum image is drawn.In this paper,the basic function and reliability of the system were verified by comparing with traditional spectrum analyzers.
