With the development of wireless communication technology and the expansion ofwireless services demand, the contradiction between supply and demand of radiospectrum resources deteriorated sharply. Most fixed allocations of spectrum are in idlestate. By introducing of cognitive radio and spectrum sensing technology, we can detectspectrum holes in time and improve spectrum utilization. Despite the development ofspectrum sensing technology has matured, but the current stud ies are mostly limited intheoretical analysis and simulation software, seldom implemented on hardware platform.And there are no perfect system platforms available for real-world testing and schemeverification.The paper focuses on the core work to build a hardware test platform, spectrumsensing function deployment, which is preparation work for the next test for physicaldevelopment of dynamic spectrum access technologies, but also provides a practical testand simulation platform for the theory of cognitive radio technology. The paper basedon GNU Radio and USRP E110software radio equipment. After introducing itsmethods of implementation and the principles of programming, we build the softwareand hardware platform,debug, and test the system to implement a demonstrationbetween two devices to send and receive data simplex; in addition, through the study ofspectrum sensing technology, we use the hardware platform we have built to find thespectrum, the process of energy-aware, finding that the data detected are highlyconsistent with the actual situation, which verifies the reliability of the hardwareplatform.
