With the increasing demand for convenience and comfortable travel conditions requirement for public air travel,airlines' investment in airport service is also increasing.The application of service robots in occasions where a large number of repetitive work to be done,such as in airport,can reduce work intensity of staffs,increase service efficiency and quality,offer tourist humanized service and has capacious market future.The subject proposed a solution about comprehensive intelligent airport service robot based on the practical application of airport service robot In this thesis,The main research work is as follows:1)Proposed service robot development methods based on modularity.This paper analyses,divides robot' demands according to functions and stability and accomplishes the design of robot mechanical structure and control methods.2)Elaborated locomotion control method of airport service robot,constructed kinematic model of mobile chassis,integrated environmental information,summarized and analyzed the data to achieve movement control and obstacle-avoidance.3)Constructed control system of airport service robot.The system included the Main System,motion control system,information sampling module and voice control module,achieves functions of robot controlling and human-computer interaction.4)Built the experimental prototype of airport service robot and verified the feasibilities of motion control methods and interactive module through experiment.All the work provided the platform for further study.
