For a long time,in the field of citation distribution, compared with the highly cited papers, attention has been paid to the research on the distribution rules, influencing factors, and academic values of low citation(including non-citation).Among them,at the level of influencing factors, this paper finds that there are not many research results from the perspective of high-impact authors, and the research methods are relatively simple. Therefore, the study decided to use low-cited papers published by high-impact authors as the research object,as far as possible, eliminate the low citation caused by the quality of the paper. Then, using multiple linear regression analysis methods to quantify the relationship between the low citation and its influencing factors and the degree of correlation. At the same time, this paper uses the keyword co-occurrence analysis method to study the impact of the paper's topic about low cited thesis, and expands the influence factors of low-cited papers related research in the future. In the selection of data, this paper first identifies the high-impact authors in the field of domestic library and information science from 2007 to 2016.Then,in view of the two-year time window, this article also retrieves academic papers that were still in low cited status after the high-impact authors were published from 2007 to 2014.Also,Considering the availability of data, the paper finally chooses high-influence authors in the field of information science which publishes low cited papers in core journals from 2007 to 2014 to analyze, and to find out the major factors affecting high-impact authors' high-level papers are still in a low-indexed situation after a 2-year citation time window. In terms of research methods, first of all, through qualitative methods such as literature survey methods,we combed out all the possible factors affecting the low cited papers, and based on this proposed correlation hypothesis.Based on this, the paper build factor analysis model and use SPSS17 to analyze the relationship between citations and influencing factors. Also, utilizing multivariate linear regression analysis to verify and delete the main factors with higher impact. At the same time, the visualization software Citespace III is selected to extract and analyze the key words of the paper, revealing the research topics of the low-cited paper. The results show that the publication of short time, low journal impact factor, periodical founded later, key words too much, too little reference,on the evening of the same year paper publication, the novel theme less popular or is the main cause of low papers cited,as for other factors, there is an insignificant positive correlation between the number of papers and the author's personal H index and the cited number of papers. Moreover, there is no significant inverse correlation between the number of headline words and the number of cited papers. Finally, based on the previous results, this paper proposes targeted suggestions, analyzes the inadequacies, and looks forward to future research. It is expected to expand the low-cited related theory, enrich the evaluation system of scientific journals, reduce the author's low cited rate, and tap the potential value of low cited.Other studies provide useful references.
