With the development of artificial intelligence,big data,cloud computing and Internet of things,traditional libraries can not meet diversified and personalized needs of users any more.The user profile is a user model built on the user data.It can figure out the model of user attribute,user behavior,user interest,user ability,so as to realize precision service of accurate delivery,personalized service,user's interest recommendation,user behavior prediction and so on.This paper combs the research status of user profile and precision service in the library field and other fields at home and abroad.Based on the existing model and combined the service situation of the library,the paper constructs the library user profile model and takes the Nanjing University library as an example to explore the application.The article is divided into two parts:theoretical research and empirical research.The first part is a theoretical study,mainly combing the current research status at home and abroad,summarizing the basic theory related to user profile.The first part lays the foundation for the empirical research.The second part is an empirical study.In this part,a user profile model of the library is constructed and a case study is carried out.The specific research contents of this paper include the following five chapters:The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,the research contents and research framework,research methods and innovations.The user profile is one of the description tools to realize the precision service.It is a new research point in the library field to apply it and reexamine the library's service system for realizing the precision service.The second chapter is the basic theory part.It introduces relevant basic theory,the method of user profile,the basic mode of precision service.The label is the core of user profile,which can be divided into basic attribute label,social attribute label,user behavior label,user interest label,user ability label and so on.The basic modes of precision service include triggering mode,information providing mode,etc.There are three common triggering modes:active modes,interactive modes and customized modes.The common information providing modes include on-demand search,intelligent push,association query,personalized recommendation,and so on.The third chapter is the present situation of precision service in domestic libraries.Five types of libraries,such as public libraries,university libraries,children's libraries,blind libraries and minority libraries in different areas are selected as the investigation objects.By visiting the official website and WeChat of these libraries,the author understands their precision service status.The fourth chapter is the model building part.It draws on the existing user portrait models in other fields and combines library service conditions to construct a library user portrait model framework including resource layer,data layer,storage layer,processing layer,model layer and application layer.The study also analyzes the relationship between layers and the content of each structure layer in detail.Personal user profile and group user profile are constructed based on the frame.The fifth chapter takes the library of Nanjing University as an example.It realizes precision service by similar user recommendation,user interest recommendation and user behavior prediction with the help of Python to carry out data processing and visualization.On this basis,the article also puts forward five suggestions to apply precision services.The sixth chapter summarizes the research findings,research limitations and research prospects.
