Detection and tracking are the basic missions of radars.The classic approach is to first detect the constant false alarm rate of the radar raw echo data,and then gather the detection results by plot clotting to form a plot,and finally use the plot data to start the track.However,with the complication of the battlefield environment,under the complex background of dense clutter and strong electromagnetic interference,the ability to suppress false alarms of classical detection and tracking technology is facing a severe test.Therefore,improving the false alarm suppression capability of radar information processing system has become an urgent issue to be studied.In this paper,aiming at this problem,based on the radar classical detection and tracking technology,combined with the refinement processing method and the track before detect technology,an integrated target detection and tracking technology for alert search radar is proposed.The integrated technology of radar target detection and tracking has changed the idea of the classic technology to control false alarms at the detection level,using detection,aggregation,and track initiation to jointly suppress false alarms,achieving the effect of integration of detection and tracking.Compared with the classic technology of detection and tracking,this technology mainly improves in two aspects:First,in the stage of detection and plot extraction,the detection and tracking integration technology adopts a refined processing method,and it is based on the return port during the plot clotting process.Sexual attributes of the plot marker are initially identified,and the quality of the plot is evaluated according to the probability of the point traces coming from the target,so that the plot extraction stage can obtain more dimensional plot information,which is convenient for the true and false track decision follow-up track initiation stage.Secondly,in the stage of track initiation,the integrated technology of radar target detection and tracking combines the classic track initiation technique and track before detect technology to jointly determine the multi-period plot data.During processing,the position of the target is extrapolated based on the motion characteristics of the target,and a confidence factor is designed as an indicator of the reliability of the point-track correlation by combining the Euclidean distance between the position estimate and the measured value.The plot quality and the confidence factor serve as the index function of the candidate track.After the index function satisfies the detection decision condition,the track start is considered to be successfiul.In this paper,simulation verification and measured data processing show that compared with the classical technology of detection and tracking,the integrated technology of detection and tracking greatly reduces the probability of false alarms at the track level and the false alarm suppression capability is better.In addition,the integrated technology of detection and tracking does not change the classical radar information processing flow and is easy to implement in engineering.
