As an important part of 3D scene,the visualization effect of cloud has been a hot topic in the field of simulation.The shape,distribution and changing state of clouds can effectively reflect some atmospheric characteristics,and also predict future weather conditions.Therefore,accurate simulation of cloud layer is of great significance.The data sources of the cloud are wide,the amount of information is large,and the physical movement process of the cloud is very complex,so there are many improvements in the process of 3D modeling and visualization of the cloud.Through the study of relevant cloud modeling and visualization methods at home and abroad,it is found that there are several main problems in the existing algorithms:the model structure is single,only the general visualization effect is achieved;the complex physical model is introduced into the physical process,the problem of computing efficiency is ignored.and the user interaction problem can not be realized;the dynamic change of the cloud is not fitted to the real physical process.Aiming at the above problems,the smooth particle hydrodynamics method is introduced to model the cloud,and the cloud layer contour is cut from the satellite image and the three-dimensional expansion is carried out.Finally,the cloud particles are rendered by the computer visualization technology to realize the realistic and effective dynamic three-dimensional effect.In recent years,visualization of meteorological data still has many problems,such as efficiency,accuracy and intuition.In view of this phenomenon,this paper uses the VTK graphics library and the volume rendering technology to process the space field data to form a three-dimensional space grid.Through the dynamic mapping between the scalar value and the color value and transparency,the three-dimensional dynamic visualization effect of the meteorological scalar data is realized.At the same time,the interpolation method existing in the traditional MC algorithm is not suitable for meteorological data,and the two sense of connection mode is used to improve the shortcomings of the MC algorithm in the field of meteorological visualization.Three dimensional visualization of wind field has always been a hot topic for researchers and visualization practitioners.Because the wind field is a very obvious vector field,this paper proposes a particle trajectory tracking algorithm to simulate the wind field and speed up the GPU through the VTK graphics library.While ensuring the efficiency,some visualization techniques are used to optimize the display mode of the wind field particle flow,and the effect of the wind field is forced to the maximum degree,and it is more conducive to the analysis of the characteristics of the wind field.
