In recent years,the information management system has been welcomed by various universities for its advantages of simple and clear interface as well as its convenient operation.At present,most universities in foreign countries,especially in developed countries,have perfect and mature information management systems and platforms,and highly specialized information organizations,and can organize and manage all aspects of business in colleges and universities conveniently and efficiently.And the construction of information technology of universities in China is relatively late.Although there is certain development for the information management of students and teachers,there are many limitation,especially for the management of postgraduate tutors in universities,it often relies on teacher management platform or personnel management system.In addition,there is no strong graduate tutor management system or platform.Based on the analysis of the needs of graduate tutors' daily management in a university,this paper understand the main work and business process of university graduate tutor management,and design and develop a system for graduate tutor management.Considering the factors such as system requirements,users and application environment,the system is designed by combining C/S and B/S mode to meet the needs of different types of users.For the user roles with more users,such as graduate tutors,students,and college managers,the functions they have are developed in B/S mode.The C/S mode is chosen to develop the branch management and the degree office users with relatively less users.The system mainly realizes the management of three aspects,such as tutor information,tutor enrollment qualification and the guidance relationship between tutors and students.In addition,the system makes statistics on the tutor related data.Tutor information management involves the classification of tutors,the addition of different types of tutors,and the maintenance function of information such as basic information,educational background and type of appointment.Tutor enrollment qualification management mainly includes tutor enrollment qualification selection,tutor stop recruitment management,and a series of related business functions in the process of enrollment qualification selection,such as awarding degree units and professional maintenance,obtaining scientific research information from scientific research system,and so on.The guidance relationship management of the tutor includes the establishment of the guiding relationship and the change of the guidance relationship between the tutors and the students.Among them,the relationship establishment divided into tutor and student select,tutor students guidance relationship import.In the process of statistical tutor data,including the classification of tutor data,classified statistics and chart display,considering that the universities focus on both the current statistical results and historical statistical results,so to save the results of the annual statistics,facilitate the follow-up management process.This system realizes daily management work of tutors,facilitate information maintenance and information sharing,improves efficiency among all management departments,and saves manpower and time cost.At the same time,it is convenient for colleges and universities to analyze the information of tutors.It is more concise to understand the structure of the tutor team and the relationship between tutors and students.At present,the system has been delivered to users for a period of time,and all aspects of feedback are good,which can meet the business needs of postgraduate tutor management in a better way in this university.
