With the rapid development and rise of Internet technologies,the application of computer animation is rapidly expanding in our real life.The introduction and application of new concepts such as VR and AR make computer animation more popular.Cloth simulation,an important branch of computer animation,has been widely used in games,design,VR and other fields since its birth.The purpose of cloth simulation is to quickly and truly simulate the real motion of the cloth.Based on current technology,simulating realistic cloth is not difficult.However,excellent simulation result requires a large amount of calculation and the support of hardware,which can't meet the requirements of real-time in some application scenarios.Therefore,exploring the method of improving the real-time performance of simulation under the premise of guaranteeing the simulation effect so that achieve the balance between the simulation effect and the calculation amount is still a challenge for the researchers.Based on the above,this paper studies several key issues in the cloth simulation,proposes the concept of constraint contribution,and builds an improved cloth simulation model based on position-constraint.We analyze the problems in the collision process,and propose an improved collision process method.The specific research content of this article is as follows:1.Based on the position-constraint cloth model we propose the concept of constraint contribution,which is used to measure the contribution of particle constrains to the particle's status at the next moment.Based on the concept of constraint contribution,we analyze the cloth model and find that the constraint's contribution of the particle changes with the changes of the overall state of the particle.Therefore,this paper divides the cloth model into some regions,the constraints in different regions are handled with different way,which is the improved cloth simulation model based on position-constraint is formed.2.We analyze the problems in the existing collision process methods and propose an improved collision process method.When dealing with the particles which has penetrated to other model,we take into account the neighboring particles which are in a constraint relationship with them.This method improves the simulation effect to some extent.3.The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experimental comparison.
