With the continuous development of wireless communication technology and the advent of artificial intelligence era,people's demand for accuracy of location information is increasing.Although there are many kinds of positioning technologies such as GPS positioning,WiFi positioning,Bluetooth positioning,infrared positioning,and ultra-wideband positioning,there is an increasing demand for more saturated spectrum resources,as well as system positioning accuracy and data transmission efficiency.The traditional wireless positioning technology has gradually entered the bottleneck of development.UWB positioning technology stands out due to its strong penetrating ability,low power consumption,strong anti-multipath capability,and high positioning accuracy.This article is devoted to studying the performance of the UWB positioning system and improving its positioning accuracy.Firstly,the characteristics of UWB pulse signals are studied from the formation of UWB signals and their signal pulse modulation and spread spectrum.Secondly,some basic research work has been carried out on the UWB channel model field.Through studying the channel characteristics of IEEE802.15.4a and its multiple channel models for MATLAB simulation,a deeper understanding of the transmission characteristics of UWB signals in the channel has been obtained.Then the Hainan EVK3.0 positioning system was built on the basis of Hainan EVK2.0 positioning system.The design was introduced from the hardware part of the system and the software platform.The main control module.antenna module and power supply module of the system are introduced in detail and compared with the previous generation system.The new generation system has increased the power amplifier circuit to increase the effective communication distance of the system.At the same time,the antenna module and the power supply module of the tag have been greatly changed to make it smaller and more powerful and meet the commercial needs.At the same time,compare and analyze some of the most widely used localization algorithms and choose to use the time difference of arrival(TDOA)and time of arrival(TOA).Finally,this paper proposes two kinds of system error calibration schemes for the antenna delay and emission spectrum of UWB system.The base station and tag of Hainan VKE3.0 positioning system are tested under different environments.The test results show that the effective communication distance of this system is higher than the original.About 6 times,and the system stability is better,and the design requirements are achieved.
