The construction of civil engineering has promoted the national economy and people's living quality,such as bridge,tunnel and high-rise.Since the construction safety accident is disastrous,civil engineering structure health monitoring is indispensable in the production field.Compared with traditional monitoring methods,Fiber Bragg Grating sensors are widely used in health monitoring of large civil engineering due to their excellent performance.Based on the existing fiber sensing hardware,we build the hardware platform of the system,and developed a software platform for monitoring the health of large civil engineering.This system can monitor strain,stress,displacement,temperature and other parameters in real time.According to the requirement of civil engineering health monitoring,this paper confirms the design objective and plan of the system,then divides the whole system into three parts:the local monitoring system,the data remote transmission module and the remote monitoring system.The local monitoring system uses the fiber Bragg grating demodulator to collect the wavelength data of the sensor set on the spot,and the data analysis is carried out by the software of the host computer to obtain the measured data.The local monitoring system transmits the measured data to the data remote transmission module,and then the data remote transmission module sends data to the remote monitoring system through the GPRS network.This is the whole process of health monitoring for civil engineering structures.The main task of this project is to design and implement the PC software platform of multi parameter optical fiber sensing remote monitoring system.Using Visual Studio 2010 as software development tool,C++ as development language,using modular programming method to finish the software.Integrated multithreading technology,database technology and GPRS communication technology to realized the functions of data collection,display,storage,remote transmission and so on.The upper-computer software is divided into two parts:local monitoring system and remote monitoring system.The local monitoring system is compatible with the dynamic demodulator mode and the static demodulator mode.Different operation modes have different parameter configuration modules to configure the demodulator operation parameters.The data acquisition module communicate with the demodulator through the network,collect all the spectral data and wavelength data of the sensor,then calculate the actual measurement data by the data parsing module to carry out the data display and data storage.This modular programming method enables software functional modules to work independently and collaboratively.The host computer software of remote monitoring system receives the configuration information and real-time data frame from the local monitoring system through the GPRS network communication technology,and analyzes the data by the data parsing module according to the established communication protocol.The data information is displayed at the interface and stored to the Access database through the data connection pool technology.The Access database is used to design a reasonable table relation of data tables in the database,which eliminates a large amount of data redundancy and realizes centralized management of system information.Finally,we completed the design and implementation of the system software platform,and built the hardware platform of the system.The system has good stability in the experimental test,so it can meet the monitoring needs.
