Three-dimensional reconstruction of medical image is one of the important applications of scientific computing visualization in medical field.It is a hotspot in the research of medical image visualization.It can provide doctors with more comprehensive and detailed medical information.It has very important study and clinical application value in many aspects including medical diagnosis,virtual surgery,plastic surgery and artificial limb surgery,surgical navigation and so on.The commercial software for medical image visualization developed abroad is expensive and mostly bundled while related domestic software is not perfect in terms of computation efficiency and interaction function,which greatly restricts the development of medical research and medical diagnosis in China.Based on the visualization tool "visualization toolkit(VTK)",this paper proposes an Marching Cubes(MC)optimization algorithm,a method that can effectively improve the rendering efficiency of the three-dimensional reconstruction.The paper also achieves flexible and interactive function in the reconstruction process with the help of interactive components,conducts postprocessing study of 3D reconstruction model,and realizes the finite element analysis of model reconstruction.The main contents are as follows:First,this paper has studies and analyzes the three-dimensional reconstruction process based on the visualization tool VTK and the rendering pipeline needed in the process by referring to the two reconstruction process principles of 3D reconstruction technology,namely,surface rendering and volume rendering.Secondly,this paper makes deep studies on the principles and steps of MC algorithm,discusses some problems and corresponding solutions that may arise in the rendering process of MC algorithm,puts forward an optimization MC algorithm which can improve drawing efficiency by quadratic median approximation method instead of linear interpolation method used in traditional MC algorithm,completes the implementation of traditional MC algorithm and optimization MC algorithm based on VTK in the experiment machine and makes conjoint comparative analysis of the rendering times and reconstruction results of the two algorithms.Next,this paper makes studies on VTK's interactive class functions and components,realizes virtual cutting of certain plane of the 3D reconstruction modeland getting virtual sections through the interactive component Widget.In addition,this paper also proposes an interactive scheme integrating feature extraction,segmentation and eigenvalue calculation based on personal medical experience of operators,and achieves the implementation in the experimental machine.At last,this paper introduces the concept of postprocessing of the 3D reconstruction of medical image,realizes the storage and format conversion of the reconstruction model through programming based on VTK,verifies the portability and analyzability of the export model through finite element analysis software,and discusses the analysis results and significance of the export model in medical level.The research in this paper is of positive significance and great clinical application in improving diagnostic efficiency,perfecting pathological analysis and formulating medical treatment plan.
