With the ageing problem growing rapidly,China has become the most ‘aged' country in the world.As a result,today's endowment business needs to satisfy the requirement of an aging society.As the robot technology keeping growing,it's likely that intelligent robots who are capable of automatically health monitoring and caring become the future solution of the aging problem.Entrusted by Henan Cooperative Innovation Center of Internet Medical and Health Service of Zhengzhou University,this paper designed a software subsystem which is an important part of the health care robot.With the help of the proposed system,we are able to implement the function such as remote operable video care,mobile following care and the analysis and management of health data.Our work can be divided into three phases,namely requirement analysis,system design and autonomous following scheme design.In requirement analysis phase,we adopt the method of interview and prototype to find out the true requirement of developers.To be more specific,we interviewed the workers in Collaborative Innovation Center,and establish a requirement analysis model through use case diagrams and use-case scenarios in UML.In system design phase,we built the hierarchical structure and the functional module of the software system and complete the design of its data base.We use sequence diagram and class diagram to further explain the design of our system.Autonomous following scheme phase focuses on analyzing the key problem in our work—the autonomous following problem.To solve the problem,we proposed a solution which consists of three main parts,namely a Faster R-CNN target detection algorithm,a camera image based target range measuring model and a library of mobile control rules.Our robot system is helpful in the following aspects:1.Remote Care: The application of remote care includes remote video calling,remote controllable robot and family doctor.For instance,the video calling function helps people outside the home to communicate with the elderly;the remote controllable robot helps to check the status of the house and make sure that everything is working fine;whenever someone home feels sick,he can call the family doctor for an instant consultation.2.Health monitoring: The function of health monitoring help checking the body status of the elder people by collecting their health indicators such as heart rate,blood pressure,and body temperature.Our system gathers the health status data via Bluetooth and upload them from the tablet on the robot to a remote server.Once the data is filtered and analyzed,it will be showed on the child's terminal,robot's terminal and doctor's terminal on the fly.3.Intelligent care: it includes the function of autonomous following and voice recognition.Autonomous following means that the camera carried by the robot recognizes,locates,and automatically drives the robot to follow the elderly in the home.Provided the intelligence accompany function,the voice recognition can help disabled elderly people to remotely control the robot through voice commands.The system has passed the system testing to meet the goal of the intelligent health care robot project at this stage,laying a good foundation for the research and marketization promotion of nursing robots.
