In recent years,the development of embedded system and communication technology,multi-media information comes to be a focus of Wireless Sensor Networks.Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network appears.The coverage problem is one of the key technologies and the research highlight.The covering effect has a great influence on the monitoring ability,quality of service,network lifetime of the whole networks.Therefore,the article focuses on the study of coverage enhancement of WMSNs.Some WMSN coverage enhancement algorithms are proposed and deeply analyzed.Firstly,the significance of WMSNs coverage enhancement is analyzed.The fundamental,implementation method node sensing model are stated.The normal sensing model and the classification is of coverage problem are listed.Also,comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the 3D directional sensing model and traditional 2D sensing model is carried out.Basic enhancing methods and the evaluation index are introduced in detail which lay a basis for the modified algorithms proposed in this thesis.Secondly,the classical distributed coverage enhancement algorithm is studied including Virtual Force Algorithm and Overlap Sensor Ratio Based Coverage Enhancing Algorithm on the shaking characteristic of OSRCEA we design a dynamic error eliminating method.And for calculating the overlap ratio of single node,a error reducing method based on size coefficient is presented which is used in the algorithm proposed in this thesis.Thirdly,traditional centralized coverage enhancing algorithm is studied including Particle Swarm Optimization and Cuckoo Search.The comparison of the two searching algorithms is done.The rate of convergence is improved by bring the survival of the fittest in that divide the solution into two group and evolve them respectively.The mechanism also included improvement rate and adaptive step size.They are involved by a closed loop control system.The simulation result shows that the rate of convergence improves using the proposed algorithm.Finally,the application environment of WMSNs is not only simple flat surface but also curved surface such as hills.On the basis of the study above,a condition with 3D directional sensing model and curved surface area is set as a coverage area.A new coverage enhancing algorithm based on 3D complex curved surface.Aiming at the curved surface,a song to flat method is proposed to describe the deployment accurately.Secondly,a 3-step discriminance especially for 3D sensing model is proposed.The result shows that the proposed algorithm improved the deployment effectively,enhances the quality of network.
