Research On Phase Flicker Of Holoeye Pluto Pure Phase LCoS Spatial Light Modulator

At present,research on the optics field,many electrically addressable phase only liquid crystal spatial light modulator,their average phase modulation can be achieved even more than 2pi,but its phase scintillation effect is still very obvious.The phase scintillation effect which greatly limits its application in high technology field,such as the application of optical tweezers,ultra-fast imaging,laser beam shaping and so on.The formation of an essential difference with the optical addressing liquid crystal spatial light modulator excellent.For this reason,we have carried out the research on scintillation of liquid crystal spatial light modulator independently.This study takes Holoeye pluto reflection type phase only liquid crystal as the object,measuring and acquiring time curve of flicker under different voltage(gray).Based on Fourier transform,obtain the frequency spectrum and phase spectrum,then obtains the value of light intensity and phase in each harmonic time.Through mathematical calculation and analyze data,then establish the scintillation models.This study based on different gray will lead to different phase flicker waveform.Therefore through setting up corresponding different gray scintillation model,can reach the accurate measurement of phase scintillation.This study aims to learn the phase scintillation model,for the researchers in the field of liquid crystals' research,and to lay a foundation for the solution of reducing the phase scintillation of liquid crystals' research.Thus improve the performance of electrically addressed liquid crystal spatial light modulator.
