Research And Application Of Fall Detection Mechanism Based On Multi-sensor Technology

As China has entered into the aging society,it brings about two characteristics of the rapid development of the situation which include population aging and empty nest of the elderly,the aging population and the proportion of empty nest families is increasing.With the increasing trend of aging population,a series of hidden dangers are also attendant,among them,fall has become one of the biggest causes of accidental death in the elderly.If we can design a fall detection system for the elderly to reduce the occurrence of similar situations or timely alarm after the elderly fall,that will be one of the best means to reduce accidents.In this paper,we percept the falls and automatically alarm based on the analysis of the current commonly used fall detection technology,adopted with wearable detection technology,combined with the MPU6050 accelerometer and heart rate sensor data acquisition module,using multi-sensor information fusion technology,through the perception of the joint detection algorithm for automatic fall and fall alarm.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)This paper first analyzes the daily activities and falls behavior of human body,and establishes a physical model to collect and analyze all kinds of human activity data.The fall of activity is divided into three stages:the stage of weightlessness,the stage of impaction,the stage of short stationary stage after falling.It comes out the three threshold algorithm analysis by the acceleration of the three stages,and it comes out a fall algorithm of joint detection combined with four element attitude algorithm and heart rate acquisition technology and three threshold algorithm.(2)We have designed the whole fall detection system in this paper,introduced the software and hardware framework,the functional requirements of the system as well.MPU6050 six axis accelerometer sensor and SON1303 heart rate sensor are used to collect human body posture data and collect heart rate data.Once the fall event occurs,the MT6260D integrated GPRS data module uploads the processed automatic alarm information or one click alarm message to the server,the guardian takes further assistance measures by checking the alarm messages sent by the APP receiving server on the mobile terminal.(3)Finally,the function test of the system is carried out,the fall detection system designed in this paper has higher accuracy and better performance,and the joint detection algorithm put forward in the text has certain application value.
