In recent years,with the rapid development of the game industry,more and more types of game emerged,Third-person game receive players welcome because of its unique combat and exploration elements.However now,the third-person game often focus on only one aspect.The game feel and playability are limited.Combine the combat and exploration elements is very important for third-person game.Unity3D game engine is a cross-platform engine which has an integrated development environment.It's loved by developers by its powerful crossplatform development capabilities and is fast to develop games.The way it develop games is quite suitable for the development of small and medium sized game.It provides a new solution for the design and implementation of 3D games.Most of individual games developed by Unity3 D are first-person games.And it's a big question to manage character animation to make the action figure player input and logic.And to achieve the expected needs,the game should make scripts for every element according to the actual game play.To solve the problems,the thesis uses Unity3 D game engine to design and implement a third-person game which have combat and explore elements.According to the demand of combat and explore,it sets out the basic play of the game and collision-based interactive game logic.The game scene is designed by 3dmax2014 and Unity3 D terrain edit.The game is divided into character control,enemy action and game control module.They are detailed design one by one through interactive game element design,game animation design and scripts design.The game is worked out by put the elements into the scene.At last each module has been tested,the result shows that the game can work properly.The third-person game designed in the thesis combine the combat and explore elements.It learns the advantage of these two types of games.The scripts and components designed in the game is a practice on Unity3 d game player's management and game interaction logic.So the thesis' work has a certain practical significance for the development of third-person game.
