With the development of information technology,Internet already became the biggest information library around the world.It not only provide good information sharing technology but also the resource sharing service.But the rapid growth of information also brings redundancy information and rubbish information which made users difficult finding useful information.It is an important question that how to search information effectively which needed to be solved.The vertical research which has target group and region can solve this problem.The paper first introduces the development process of searching engine and the working theory of vertical searching engine.Then discusses the vertical searching engine technique and ranking technique.Analyzes traditional PageRank algorithm basic theory and the precondition of application.This can build foundation for the further research.The paper discusses from the topic drift in the PageRank algorithm and analyzes the reasons.Then introduce the results in home and abroad.This paper tries to work on the searching topic keywords and the similarity of website and then get the similarity algorithm factor.On the other hand,analyzes the keywords with local resources library and do the similarity analysis.Through the blur resource library to find the similarity algorithm factor.After taking these two algorithm factors into the PageRank algorithm and after the simulated test,the improved algorithm decrease the possible of topic drift and increase the veracity.At last,this paper uses the improved PageRank algorithm into the Vertical searching engine.Through the application and contrast with other website,we can find that the improved PageRank algorithm has its advantages with higher accuracy and stable system which can satisfy customers' demands.
