Things to flourish and expand the application terminal sensing device market demand,promote the rapid development of optical fiber sensors,to promote the continuous development and preparation of optical fiber sensor micro processing technology and mature.Polishing and coating device for optical fiber side,development and optical fiber sensing devices has become a hot spot.In this paper,fiber side processing and preparation of dip coating process of optical fiber humidity sensor,a new type of fiber side polishing and fiber pulling system is developed,making the design and implementation of fiber side polishing and fiber pulling of the main control circuit;At the same time using optical fiber lifting system of this design,dip coated polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)thin films were successfully prepared based on fiber Bragg grating(FBG)relative humidity sensor;finally through experiments the sensing characteristics,confirmed that PVA thin film humidity sensor based on FBG measurement has good effect.This paper includes the following aspects:1.A kind of improved fiber side polishing machine is designed and realized.According to the optical fiber side polishing machine structure and fiber processing technology,design an improved fiber mill scheme.In the scheme of an optical platform as the support,the stepper motor electric translation stage for grinding wheel level and vertical lifting,two direction drive and control.The optical distance sensor the scheme can stretch down the mechanical structure and mounted optical polishing depth on-line monitoring,improve the existing grinding system needs to be taken out of the optical fiber measurement cumbersome and inconvenient,greatly improves the work efficiency.The design and manufacture of the control circuit with stcl5wlk16s single chip microcomputer as the control core is completed,and the accurate and reliable control and operation of the polishing motion of the side polishing machine of the optical fiber are realized.2.Design and fabrication of optical fiber pulling deviceStc12C5A60S microcontroller as the core control,so that the system is running more smoothly and accurately,speed adjustable range,to meet the requirements of different coating speed of the process.3.A humidity sensitive sensor based on FBG was successfully prepared by PVA technique.Through theoretical analysis,software simulation and experiment show that the preparation of this experiment based on the humidity sensor FBG good results.The humidity sensor of fiber grating can overcome the traditional electronic humidity sensor based on the requirements of the low humidity environment,for a number of sensors on humidity monitoring network connected distributed calculation.According to the simulation,optimization design the sensitivity of humidity sensor based on FBG and PVA films can be higher than that of the polyimide(PI)fiber humidity sensor material,has better application prospect in practice.
