With the development of communication technology,some network platforms,such as WeChat,micro-blog,QQ and so on,have become important places where people release information and exchange ideas.Rumor is a kind of false information,which is spreaded by some particular social groups or individual for some benefit.Rumor in social networks can do significant harm to the reputation,social status and economic interests of individuals or groups in a short time.Social networks are the main carrier of rumors,more and more people tend to use social networks to publish or obtain information.The network rumors destroy personal honor,disrupt the normal production order,and even affect social stability.Therefore,the research on propagation and suppression of network rumors has become a hot topic in the field of social communication and network science at the present stage.Based on the two characteristics of rumor propagation in social networks:one is that the transition probability between different states is dynamic,the second is that people in networks are affected by the social relation,this paper studies the problem-s of rumor spreading in social networks.Firstly,we describe the development and characteristics of social networks and rumors,and summarize the current research s-tatus of rumor propagation in social networks.Secondly,we divide network audience into four states:susceptible(S),infective(I),counterattack(C)and refractory(R),and establish SICR rumor propagation model with dynamic transition probability.Moreover,combining with theoretical analysis and simulation experiments,the dy-namic behavior of rumor spreading in social networks is revealed.Then we analyze the influence of model parameters and network parameters on the rumor spreading.The results show that:the average degree,average path length,the transmission rate and so on are closely related to the breadth and depth of rumor spreading,and it is found that the dynamic transition probability can accelerate the evolution speed of rumor propagation and expand the scope of rumor spreading.Finally,taking the effect of social relation into account,we establish a new SICR model and analyze the effect of social relation,community structure on the evolution process of rumor spreading.The results show:after considering the influence of social relation,the scope and speed of rumor spreading is wider and faster respectively,and the rumor significantly accelerates the disspation.In a network with community structure,that the rumor spreading reaches the peak needs longer time,while the scope of propagation decreases,so the community structure of the network can suppress the spreading of rumor.Subsequently,we analyze the effect of the importance of the initial infective,refractory and counterattack on the final size and process of rumor spreading.The results show that the existence of small amount of natural refrac-tory and counterattack has little effect on the diffusion behavior of rumor,but the more important the initial infective is,the faster and wider rumors spread,and the importance of initial refractory and counterattack only affects the scope of rumor propagation and does not change the overall process of spreading.
