With the rapid development of information technology,people's reading habits is undergoing tremendous changes.Library staff and readers cannot accept the traditional libraries gradually,as the complexity of its management and the unicity of its reading information.Comparatively speaking,not only the digital library can realize intelligent book and other functions,but also it can send high quality electronic books,audio and other digital information resources to the outside readers by the network.For readers,the mobile phone or tablet is not allowed leave their bodies,so the digital library replaces traditional library is an inevitable trend.In order to further give the reader a good reading experience,the storage service performance indicators is the key of the digital library.Because the storage capacity of digital resources is very huge,the price is generally unbearable if all data resources are stored in the high.speed storage medium.To address these disadvantages,this paper presents a storage strategy to digital library based on the multistage hybrid storage.The traditional hard disk is very cheap but slow,solid.state drives is fast but expensive,vitual hard disk cache(memory)is fastest but owns the highest price and data will loss when the power is down.How to match the three kinds of storage media will become the key of multistage hybrid storage.In recent years,the study of multistage or tiered storage is more in the domestic,but the depth research multistage storage technology which is applied to the digital library is not much,especially according to the internal and external resources and the reader factors of the library to research hotspot,and based on the research of hot spots and WEB entity knot is scarce.This paper studies is a multistage storage technology innovation in the application of the digital library research.The main contributions are as follows:Firstly,we analyzed the interface and rotational speed of the traditional hard disk,the interface of solid.state hard and the speed and life of three chips,the interface and speed characteristics of memory.We also compared the four network structure.And we illustrated such the abroad popular migration method as hot migration of digital resources and IBM.Secondly,we researched the relationship between hot data and actual factor from more aspects,for instance books,shadow disc,hot reading about ebooks,audiovisual,the latest digital resource,reader and so on.Based on this researce,this paper built model that digital library visited hot data,and designed the criterion that digital library resources dynamically translate between multistate storage devices.Finally,we made the data migration WEB entity,used FSO technology to migrate the digital resource file,studied from the sequential read speed,random read speed and disk seek speed through constructing three platform of virtual hard disk,SSD,and mechanical hard disk.And we analyzed the hard drive speed when the typical movie,MTV and electronic books digital resources are used.Experiments results show that the multistage storage architecture can significantly enhance the user experience of digital library under the condition of the infrastructure investment is not many.
