Human obtains most of information through eyes.It brought more conveniences to people's production and life if human's vision could directly use in human-computer interaction.The key point of gaze tracking technology is to detect the directions of gaze.To track the direction of the eye-gaze,human can set up new interaction with computer.There are some drawbacks in traditional gaze tracking which utilize infrared refection theory wearing gaze tracking device or electro-oculogram and etc,high cost,harm to eyes by some light refection device,or discomfort by wearing special equipment on head.Nowadays,gaze tracking technology is mainly using in many aspects such as medical,military,intelligent transport system and etc.With the development of human-computer interaction and gaze tracking technology is becoming the hottest research area.So the research focus on gaze tracking technology by design a eyr-controlled mouse.This research overcome the shortage of traditional based on the following five points:First,hardware cost is very low,and does not require a variety of expensive eye tracker.The second improve feature extraction and calibration algorithm.Third,users only need to set up a simple camera to meet the user and need not calibration,so it easy to learn.The fourth,it can be adapted to any shape and size of the screen,due to the use of dual cameras for less demanding camera positioning,the number of reference point is less thus the processor computing load is small,fifth,it have high precision positioning,error can be corrected,it can allow head movement.This research overcome the shortage of traditional gaze tracking technology and design a new method of remote 3-D gaze tracking which is based on the vision of eyes,provide a loose environment and need not wear expensive and cumbersome equipments but it can provide accurate gaze orientation.This research design eye-tracking algorithm have high precision and working under low working frequency,low hardware resources,have high positioning accuracy and can correct head movement error.
