Independent Redundant Disk Array(RAID,Redundant Array of Independent Disk),provides higher storage performance than a single hard Disk and the data backup technology.With the continuous development of computer technology,in order to improve the overall computer data flow,the technology of the disk array has been improved continuously,which caused problems to the test of storage array.Due to the test for storage array request a large number of hard disk with high consumption and high cost during test,in this article present a FCLB(Optical fiber disk circuit)card to replace the hard disk used for the test of the storage array for environmental stress screening test(ESS).Design of FCLB improve the test efficiency,and reduced the cost greatly as well,which brings shorter production cycle and higher efficiency of the storage array.This article presents a simulated disk structure FCLB applied to test of storage array for environmental stress screening.First of all,this paper expounds the structure,principle and test methods of the disk array and environmental stress screening.And then put forward structure and design principle of the FCLB system,analyzes the function of the main hardware system involves BCM8422 and PIC 18F6520,meanwhile it proposes a design for the structure of the single chip design and programming of related application program.After successful validation of FCLB,it is applied to the storage array of environmental stress tests,including random vibration test and temperature cycle test.And validating test results by using the PASS and FAIL principle of signal integrality(SI).The design of FCLB is implemented to PCB board via using FOXCONN manufacturer technology,and the FCLB board is lighter than normal hard disk.The FCLB can be successfully verified under random vibration,FCLB can also verify successfully at 0?70?.Application to the measurement result in ESS test station also indicates that application of FCLB instead of hard disk could save cost,and also brings significant economy benefit due to high availability.
