High investment in game developing has made the game content very dazzling and splendid.After going through sufficient eye-catching shock of visual images,players' demand for the game intelligence has became higher and higher.Although the game AI has made considerable progress,but does not meet the requirements of many game players.Especially in role play games,players not only play his own characters,but also communicate with the NPCs in the game.Based on players' demand,this thesis studied the emotion model design,and put forward emotion model with mood and personality,and then combine emotion into the BDI level model to establish the agent's decision-making system based on BDI emotion model,and implemented in the game.The step to take is as follows:First,to enable the agent to simulate human emotional changes,this thesis concluded the former research of emotion modeling,and then combined the effect of personality for emotion,mood space for agent,emotions within emotion space for each other,emotional threshold theory,the attenuation of emotion and mood all together with the external events to establish the emotion model of personality and mood based on discrete method,so that the agent can better simulate human emotional changes.Secondly,as the key for Agent behavior modeling research,the BDI model,however,did not integrate into the mood system.Based on BDI level model,this thesis combined mood and personality of the emotion model into the BDI emotional model,thus,the agent's decisions were not only determined by the belief,desire and intention,but also by the emotions.Finally,a game was developed with Unreal Engine 4 game engine as the platform,and implemented agent behavior control system with BDI emotion model.The system applied BDI emotion model to build the agent's behavior,and gave a vivid description of its behavior,then used its model to describe the behavior in the game.Through the intelligent decision-making of non player characters in the game to improve the game's AI.
