Research Of The Control Plane Of IPRAN Device

With the rapid development of mobile and data services,traditional technology has been unable to meet their developing needs.Packet transport technology has been submitted in due time and it is being quickly developed.As an optimized router solution,IPRAN technology is designed for application scenarios of multi-services including mobile base station returns and private services of government and enterprise.In this thesis,we combine the characteristics of IPRAN technics with the development of router technics to do some analysis on IPRAN routing device.Based on the analysis of these analyses,we conclude that forwarding performance of current routers is no longer the bottleneck of router technology since the invention and application of network processor.At the same time,the abilities of router control and identification are facing a big challenge with the development of the Internet which makes the network presents a wide range of business development.This study of this thesis is to improve the scalability and performance of the control plane of IPRAN devices.To achieve this goal,comparisons and analyses have been made on some existing router software architectures,and the structure of the control plane is divided according to its functions.Based on these researchs,an scheme to implement the software architecture of the control plane of IPRAN device is proposed,and the individual components of this architecture are introduced.In the last part of the thesis,a lot of tests have been done on the software architecture of the control plane,and it's proved that our software can meet the requirements of the operators for the specifications and performance of IPRAN routers.
