As the basic form of mixed-age education in kindergartens,mixed-age regional games break the boundaries between different classes of all ages.Through the education mode of "taking the small with the big" and "promoting the big with the small",it plays an important role in promoting children's cognitive,emotional and social development.As an important part of the traditional Chinese culture,Huxiang traditional culture is integrated into the mixed-age regional games,so that children of different ages can feel the charm of traditional culture in mutual interaction and cooperation,deepen the knowledge and understanding of local culture,and continue of traditional culture in children.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical significance to develop the traditional Huxiang culture into kindergarten mixed-age regional games.This study adopts the method of case study,selects the representative W kindergarten as the research object,and collects the research data by using the methods of observation,literature,interview and case analysis.The research finds that: on the basis of screening and integrating the resources of Huxiang traditional culture,W kindergarten has made it clear that folk drama should be integrated into the performance area,the catering culture should be integrated into the living area,integration of traditional skills into educational areas,and the folk artshould be integrated into the art and art area.As for how to integrate Huxiang traditional culture into the mixed age regional games in kindergartens,W kindergarten has carried out exploration and practice from the angle layout of the game area,the game development process,game playing methods and rules,and teachers' guiding principles and strategies.Through the preliminary trial and accumulation,W kindergarten has achieved initial results in promoting the development of children in various fields,promoting the professional development of teachers and promoting the connotative development of kindergarten.However,there are still the following problems: the space environment of mixed age regional games is too small,and the space setting of some regions is unreasonable;the materials of mixed age regional games are lack of extensibility and the degree of innovation is not high;there are too many children in mixed-age areas and teacher ratios is insufficient;the role of teachers in mixed age regional games is not clear,and the ability of observation and guidance is not strong.Based on the discussion on the development of mixed age regional games in kindergartens and the integration of Huxiang traditional culture into the mixed age regional games in kindergartens,this study puts forward the following suggestions: integrate and optimize educational resources,and scientifically deploy mixed-age regional games;improve the level of game materials,change and adjust the game materials in time;accurately locate the role of Develop the whole garden mixed age area game,optimize the organization form of mixed age area game the teacher,and improve the teacher's observation and guidance ability.
