At the beginning of the 21 st century,China came up with the major strategic assignment of setting up an innovation-oriented country,which relies on the strategy of reviving the country through science and education and enhancing the country through talents.The 21 st century is an era of combined and mixed knowledge,and the country has a great demand for comprehensive talents.The “Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools” promulgated in 2018 proposed the teaching requests of "core literacy of biology discipline".The key to cultivate comprehensive talents in the basic education stage is to implement the core literacy.This study focuses on "how to develop biological unit teaching based on the big concept of subject",and explores the influence of biological unit teaching on the development of students' core literacy from the perspective of classroom teaching design,so as to provide reference materials for the implementation of curriculum standards and the promotion of students' core literacy of biological subject.This study is mainly with action research.Through class teaching practice,this study takes book compulsory second and chapter v-gene mutations and other variation for example,trying to transform the traditional biological teaching method which centers on teachers and textbooks into independent cooperation inquiry learning which is the main study way.Aiming at the influence of biological unit teaching based on the big concept of discipline on core literacy and autonomous learning,experimental control method was adopted to the study.This study also analyzes the status quo,connotation,characteristics,teaching mode and evaluation method of the implementation of core literacy through searching and reading literature.The existing situation of students' autonomous learning capability and core accomplishment under the current teaching mode is learned through questionnaire.The results show that the teaching of biological unit can improve students' learning autonomy,the putting into effect of biological unit teaching is beneficial to the implementation of biological core literacy,and the teaching of biological unit is able to assist students to build knowledge network and improve their academic performance.After the above research process,the core value of this paper lies in: providing the design process and classroom operation procedure of biological unit teaching based on big concept with core literacy as the evaluation center and demonstrating the evaluation system of biological unit teaching based on core literacy.Furthermore,it provides reference teaching research for the front-line teachers under the new curriculum reform.This paper is mainly made up of six sections: Section one is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background of the research,research issues and notes the significance of this research;.The second section is a literature reference,which mainly expounds the concepts of core literacy,biological subject core literacy,unit teaching which is based on the major concept of discipline,and defines the concept of discipline core literacy,and puts forward the theoretical foundation of this study.Section three is the research design.It expounds the design of the paper from the layers of research purpose,content,object,stream of thoughts and method.The fourth section prepares two unit teaching cases and apply them with the help of the theory of research design.The fifth part is the evaluation of teaching effect,which mainly introduces the implementation of assessment of biological core accomplishment,students' independent learning ability and various evaluation methods of learning performance,providing the basis for the research conclusion.The last section is the conclusion and reflection of the research.It presents the research conclusion of this paper and provides reflection on the disadvantages of this paper,so that it can furnish directions for the following research.
