Novel is an important part of Chinese learning in senior high school.In the selection of textbook works,the number of novels is large,and the themes of these novels include all kinds of contents at home and abroad.In the national college entrance examination papers,there is a wide range of investigation involving novel content and knowledge.However,in the teaching of teachers,the traditional teaching mode of "three elements" of novels highlights its limitations.Therefore,the novel teaching must keep up with the development of the times,constantly push through the old and bring forth the new,and effectively carry out the teaching transformation.The theory of narratology can provide corresponding strategies and suggestions for the interpretation and appreciation of senior high school novel reading teaching texts,so as to optimize the teaching methods of novel reading.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss the application of narratology in the teaching of high school novel reading.In the first chapter,the introduction mainly discusses the research origin,research status,research significance and research methods.For the research on the application of narratology in the teaching of novel reading,this paper first discusses the status and teaching needs of novels;then analyzes and combs the research status quo,focusing on the current situation of novel reading teaching and the research on the application of narratology in novel teaching;finally,it clarifies the research significance of the application of narratology in the teaching of high school novel reading,and through literature research method and questionnaire Methods of investigation and observation were analyzed.The second chapter mainly analyzes the current situation of Chinese novel teaching in senior high school.This part mainly analyzes and discusses from four aspects: the research on the selection of novels in senior high school Chinese teaching materials,the proposition of national college entrance examination(Volume I),the investigation of senior high school novel teaching and the problems existing in senior high school novel teaching.In this chapter,the author first analyzes the contents of the novels in the textbooks and the situation of the novels in the Chinese Textbooks of senior high school;then,combining with the proposition situation of the national college entrance examination,he understands the key and difficult points of the novels reading investigation;finally,through the novels Teaching questionnaire of senior high school,he deeply understands the situation of the novels reading teaching in ordinary senior high school and finds out the problems in the teaching.The third chapter mainly expounds the form of novel teaching under the theory of narratology.Based on the analysis of the current situation of novel teaching,this chapter mainly discusses the teaching form of three levels: teaching introduction,teachers' leading and students' main body,starting from the theory of narratology.The fourth chapter,mainly combined with the results of the previous research,teaching for its problems,put forward the corresponding solutions.In the process of teaching,teachers make a substantial classroom transformation of the introduction of narratology theory into novel teaching through the novel teaching methods of "performance","painting","film and television" and "innovation".Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the main points of the thesis,discusses the problems that should be paid attention to when the narratology theory is introduced into the novel teaching,and then puts forward a good prospect for the future high school novel reading teaching.
