Since the restoration of the college entrance examination in 1978.The mechanism of the exam has been changing constantly.2014,the new college entrance examination process was piloted in Zhejiang province,in which also was involved in planning and implementing he college entrance examination vividly.Unlike the former The college entrance examination,which divided the students into science major and art major,the new The college entrance examination has some milestone modifications,that the science and art divisions have no longer existed,but students choose Chinese,Mathematics and English as their compulsory subjects,while they can choose three subjects from Politics,History,Geography,Physics,Chemistry and technology,basically according to their interests and hobbies(briefly as “choose three out of seven”).The aims of the reformation are: firstly,to guide the basic education and deepen the reform,perfect the quality education,and to improve students' social responsibility,the innovation spirit and the ability to practice so as to foster them to be the comprehensive beings;secondly,to give students more rights to choose the subjects,promote them to develop individually and distinctively to foster the selection of talents more reasonable;thirdly,to dispose the education resource more efficiently,and to make the college entrance fair to each student.The college entrance examination is playing a vital role in selecting the talent,with close connections to the development of our country,as well as the future of the students.The new the college entrance examination reformation has achieved a great success,especially the new form of “choose three out of seven” or “choose three out of six”,and that form will be implemented nationwide.As the pilot places of the new reformation,Zhejiang province and Shanghai district are facing with some challenging while implementing after the graduation of the first three grades.For instance,the allocation of time needs to improve so as to fit better with the current education management;some policies such as to guarantee the lowest subject score is to balance the different standing of the seven subjects;it has also brought difficulties to choose and mix the subjects and to have the class shift system.Most importantly,how to choose the selective subjects and guide the students to mix the different subjects.This paper isaiming to investigate the measures and solutions on how to select and mix the subjects reasonably.Through the investigation of three high schools in Jinyun County.Firstly,there are too many options to select from and mix with the subjects,making it difficult to plan and manage the process,leaving the irrational mixture.Secondly,it is hard for students to organize and choose their subjects comprehensively;and sometimes there are mismatch between the students' ability and the school settings.Thirdly,the senior high school students are divided according to their entrance exam to the high school,leaving huge gaps in students' qualities and their leaning abilities;and it is necessary to set the subjects mixture in each town and even each school to allocate the education resources.After the further investigation,the reasons behind above issues can be concluded as follows.Firstly,before the selection,due to some objective facts,students are not able to have full understanding of the subjects,neither do they know their own learning abilities,as well as the plan to the future professional development;they always fail to mix the subjects scientifically.Secondly,because the subject selection is considered a new innovation,for schools,there is no systematical mechanism to evaluate and analyze students' ability;there is also lack of a special course that can offer professional guidance to the students;the experience for schools to evaluate students in groups and the mixture organization is also very little.Thirdly,as a result of using the new grading system,it is necessary to know not only how the individual students choose the subjects,but also how others' options,making the information sharing platform among school very essential.However,the new mechanic to the reformation of the college entrance examination has not been efficiently used yet,so there is no platform established to share information and the dates.In order to gather data,several methods have been used,such as organizing reference,analyzing theories together with questionnaire.According to the mentioned issues and the reasons behind them,refer to other schools who have the experience towards the new the college entrance examination system,also take the school traditional promotion rate,some measures must be taken as follows.Firstly,establish a comprehensive form to analyze students' learning abilities and interests,so as to lead the students to select the subjects more rationally.Secondly,take students' enrollment structure into consideration,learn from the previous data and experience,to set up some special mixture for the school,and to lessen the disadvantages of the class-shifting system;toimprove the school's plan and manage expertise.Third,to form joint-action mechanism in order to share data and information among schools and even students,as well as sharing teaching resources,teaching management and teaching allocation.Through above measures,the setting and management of the subjects selections are to be more equitable,the students would find it easier to select their subjects,therefore,to have brighter future.
