No matter whether people have money or not, they may feel that they are short of money. This subjective experience of being in a state of scarcity in economy is a feeling of poverty. The scarcity of money is an important manifestation of poverty, and the feeling of poverty is likely to affect college students'attitude towards money, which in turn will affect their impulse buying behavior.Studies have shown that frequent impulse buying not only disrupts an individual's savings plan and even leads to financial problems,it can also lead to negative emotional experiences. To explore the role of money attitude in the relationship between poverty and impulsive buying behavior, the following three studies were designed. In the first study, according to the exploratory factor analysis,Feeling of Poverty Questionnaire of College Students including four dimensions of economic inadequacy, demotion of consumption, restraint of consumption and desire for wealth, with a total of 22items,including 9 items of economic inadequacy,5 items of demotion of consumption,5 items of restraint of consumption and 3 items of desire for money. The Cronbach'coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.887,and the retest reliability was 0.791 at a two-week interval.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that,?~2/df=2.66,CFI=0.900,GFI=0.920,AGFI=0.900,IFI=0.901,RMSEA=0.054?It can be seen that the self-compiled Feeling of Poverty Questionnaire of College Students'reliability and validity indexes met the psychometric requirements. In the second study,in order to explore the relationship among feeling of poverty, money attitude and impulse buying behavior,1115 college students were tested with Feeling of Poverty Questionnaire of College Students,Money Attitude Questionnaire and Impulse Buying Behavior Questionnaire. The results show that money attitude plays a mediating role between feeling of poverty and impulse buying behavior.Specifically, three kinds of money attitudes,power-prestige,maintenance-retention and anxiety, can play a intermediary role between college students'feeling of poverty and the impulse buying behavior, while the intermediary role of distrustful money attitude is not significant. In the third study, the total score of the effective sample number in the second study on the Feeling of Poverty Questionnaire of College Students was ranked from the highest to the lowest. The first 27%of the subjects were selected as the high group, and the last 27% were selected as the low group, and 40 people were recruited from high group and low group respectively.Using monetary information and non-monetary information as experimental materials, the free viewing task was used to let the subjects watch the experimental materials presented on the screen, and eye movement indicators were collected during the viewing process by using eye movement tracking technology to investigate the relationship between college students`feeling of poverty and attention bias of monetary information. The results showed that college students with a strong feeling of poverty had a stronger early awareness and longer overall retention of monetary information than those with a weak feeling of poverty. In a word, college students with a strong feeling of poverty have a stronger attention bias to monetary information than those with a weak feeling of poverty. Moreover, the feeling of poverty of college students can influence their impulse buying behavior by influencing their money attitude.
