Learning progression focuses on how students' minds change over time.Isosceles triangle is a very important content in junior middle school mathematics,which plays a connecting role in the process of junior middle school students' geometry learning.In this study,isosceles triangle of junior middle school mathematics is selected to constructs the learning progression based on the core concepts,and the test and analysis are carried out to provide beneficial reference for junior middle school mathematics teaching.This research mainly focuses on the following aspects: first,through the analysis of curriculum standards and textbooks,the core concept of middle school mathematics isosceles triangle is established by interviewing with teachers in the front line;Second,it is to analyze the junior middle school mathematics curriculum standards and the related contents of the isosceles triangle in the mathematics textbook of People's Education Press,and put forward the hypothesis learning progression of the isosceles triangle.Third,it is to test the hypothesis learning progression of junior middle school mathematics isosceles triangle and develop the isosceles triangle test according to the hypothesis learning progression constructed,investigate student's mastery of the isosceles triangle,the three-parameter item response model is used to verify the hypothesis learning progression,analyze the trend of students' thinking changes and learning effects at different difficulty levels,and then revise the isosceles triangle learning progression model.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The core concepts reflected in the content of the middle school mathematics isosceles triangle are geometric intuition,reasoning ability,spatial concept and application consciousness;2.The isosceles triangle learning progression model contains six progression levels,and the developed measurement tool has good performance indexes,which verifies the effectiveness of the progression model;3.The learning progression of middle school mathematics isosceles triangle can generally reflect the development of students' learning thinking.
