The local music culture embodies the local customs,spiritual characteristics and rich local characteristics of a region.The tea-picking opera in Gannan and the Hakka folk song of Xingguo are well-loved by the people of Gannan,reflecting the local music culture of the people of Gannan with their strong local characteristics.They have taken root and sprouted in this red land in southern Jiangxi,and have a history of hundreds of years.With the great changes in history and the impact of modern civilization,these excellent local music with a long history are gradually faded in people's minds,and over time,they are facing a grim situation that will soon be lost.In recent years,the party has called for cultural self-confidence to start with children.The inheritance of local music culture in school education has become a concern in the field of music education.As a basic education,primary and secondary school music education should give play to its educational inheritance function and help the local music culture to be better passed on and developed.To this end,the author investigates the situation of primary and secondary schools in Ganzhou City,and then understands the status quo of the inheritance of local music in primary and secondary schools in Ganzhou City,and uses four primary and secondary schools as examples to study issues related to local music education.This thesis is composed of four chapters,introduction and conclusion.The introduction part expounds the reason and significance of the research issues in this thesis,summarizes the current status of domestic research on related issues,and the research methods of the thesis.The first chapter of the thesis explains the general situation of local music in Ganzhou;the second chapter introduces the current situation of local music education at the elementary and middle school level,the normal university level and the social level of Ganzhou;the third chapter is about the local music education of the four primary and secondary schools studied in this thesis The current situation is investigated and analyzed.The fourth chapter discusses the significance of studying local music,and proposes solutions to the problems of local music education in primary and secondary schools.At the same time,it also develops ideas for the construction of local music courses.The conclusion part points out that the school's music education must pay attention to the "root culture" and establish a multicultural music education concept.
