Research On The Food Safety WeChat Rumors In "WeChat Rumor Refuting Assistant"

In the era of social media,the information intensive,high-speed and full coverage communication brings many conveniences to people's lives,at the same time,it also makes food safety rumors related to the vital interests of the public appear in a more rapid and direct way around people.WeChat,with the attribute of "strong relationship",has become a "disaster area" of food safety rumors.The rumor of food safety that overflows in WeChat not only seriously pollutes the network communication environment,but also brings psychological panic and anxiety to WeChat users,seriously interferes with people's actual behavior,and even poses a certain threat to the healthy development of the whole food industry and the harmonious and stable development of society.In this context,it is particularly important to establish an explanation framework for identifying and revealing the rumors of food safety WeChat,and trace the deep-seated reasons why these rumors continue to spread in WeChat.In this paper,50 falsified WeChat rumors of food safety in the WeChat disinformation widget "WeChat rumor refuting assistant" are taken as the research objects.The text analysis and case study are mainly used to sort out and interpret the specific contents of 50 typical rumor samples.At the same time,in-depth interviews are used to explore the causes of inducing,breeding and spreading such rumors.First of all,I combed the specific types,communication modes and typical cases of food safety WeChat rumors.On this basis,I discuss the text content of 50 rumor samples in terms of distribution factors and text characteristics,and found that the rumor makers of WeChat rumors of food safety were familiar with the "soft ribs" of the public in the face of food safety problems,and were good at using and creating anxiety,these rumors,which are very vague and confusing,can attract many WeChat users to read and forward one after another.Finally,I go beyond the rumor text,through in-depth interviews with 15 WeChat users who often receive and forward food safety rumor actively or passively in WeChat,and analyze and summarize the reasons that lead to the frequent prohibition of food safety WeChat rumor and the flood of rumors: First,the closed,strong relationship and hidden WeChat platform provides a "hotbed" for rumors;Second,WeChat users who are not rational but have more sensibility are easily incited to become "accomplices" of rumor spreading;Third,the official account of the lack of professionalism and the anomie of ethics is the "pushing hand" of rumors;Fourth,the "sense of social instability" caused by the people's livelihood information is not open,and the absence of laws is the "fuse" of rumors.
