“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning are a major channel and base for ideological and political education,which is shouldered with the mission to develop contemporary college students'Marxist theoretical qualities and guide college students to establish a correct outlook on the world,life and values.It is also a vigorous guarantee for the development of qualified constructors and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,“Ideological and Political Theories”is worthy of the name as the“first lesson in college”.After the opening of the 18~thh CPC National Committee,the Party Central Committee has listed ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning as a key project,and constantly promoted the introduction of the socialism theoretical system with Chinese characteristics to textbooks,classroom,and students'mind.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in the seminar on teachers lecturing“Ideological and Political Theories”,“To promote reform and innovation of‘Ideological and Political Theories'requires constant strengthening of the ideas,theories,comprehensibility,and practicability of this course.”This has raised a new requirement of the curriculum reform of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning.To reform the teaching model of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning,and to construct“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning into an excellent course that students can effectively learn,understand,believe in,and use constitute the focus of ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning.Proceeding from the interactive teaching method,this paper explores the reform of the teaching model of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning,and improves the teaching effects of the course so as to better cope with new situations,new problems and new tasks of ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning.To start with,this paper expounds on the research background and significance,puts forward the main research methods and thinking,and points out the innovational points and shortages of this research.Second,relevant concepts and theories are defined and summarized.With the theory of rules of the ideological and political education process and the theory of the resultant force rule as the theoretical basis,the elements and mechanism of the interactive teaching model in“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning are illustrated.Following that,questionnaire is organized to point out the problems existing in the interactive teaching model of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning,including lack of interactive subject diversification,humdrum interactive content,scattering forces,lack of interactive information,etc.Teachers of“Ideological and Political Theories”are interviewed to analyze causes behind the above problems,including restrictions of the scope of interactive subjects,inadequate teaching intensity of“Ideological and Political Theories”,failure of educational forces to form effective resultant force,and inadequate utilization of new media platforms.Finally,suggestions for strengthening of the effectiveness of the interactive teaching model of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning are put forward,including putting students at the center to expand the scope of interactive subjects;giving priority to interactive teaching and improving the teaching system of“Ideological and Political Theories”;realizing the organic integration of interactive relations in the domain of education with the practical interactive teaching as the extension;strengthening applications of new media platforms with the online interactive teaching as the assistance.The interactive teaching model of“Ideological and Political Theories”in institutions of higher learning should keep up with the pace of the new era,and seek theoretical and practical innovation.Based on college students'development,the teaching model should be constantly improved,and the functions of“Ideological and Political Theories”should be given into full play so as to constantly enhance college students'recognition and acquisition of the knowledge of“Ideological and Political Theories”.
